Our annual Government Pro Bono Roundtable will cover all your questions about doing pro bono work as a federal or local government lawyer. Pro bono work can be a rewarding part of a government career; you just need to be familiar with the resources, policies, and strategies that allow you to do the work effectively. At this lively panel discussion, you'll learn about established pro bono programs for federal government lawyers as well as emerging opportunities for doing pro bono work as a lawyer for the D.C. government.

Our expert panel includes Deborah Birnbaum, US Department of Labor, Catalina Martinez, Small Business Administration, and Eddie Cohen, US Department of Justice. They will share tips for finding pro bono opportunities and ensuring your pro bono experience is meaningful and productive. You'll also hear from Laura Klein, DOJ's Pro Bono Program Manager.

Our panel will be moderated by our board member Amy Senier currently at DOJ Civil Rights Division.

Bring your lunch, a government-issued ID, and your questions!
